The NotreDame Intermédica Group adopts integrated management (Environment,Sustainability & Safety) to ensure that its business activities comply with all legal requirements and regulations and to support the continuous improvement and sustainability of its business

Aligned with good sustainability practices, the main aspect of GNDI´s environmental management involves waste management and the rational use of energy and water.

The Company has various sustainable initiatives, which include:

Health Services Solid Waste Management Plan (PGRSS)

The health service waste generated have different final disposals based on the Health Services Waste classification, which involves separating the waste based on the potential risks to public health and the environment, in accordance with the applicable laws. The final disposal of solid waste is conducted by expert companies duly licensed by government authorities.

The Health Services Solid Waste Management Plan establishes the procedures for handling, storing, internal and external collection and final disposal of solid waste in accordance with the law.

Regularly GNDI invests in training programs for its own and outsourced employees to ensure the effective standardization of processes and the correct waste destination, reducing the negative environmental impact.

Greenhouse Gases Inventory Publication

For the first time in the history of NotreDame Intermédica Group, an inventory of greenhouse gases related to GNDI Headquarters was published.

The inventory aims to quantify greenhouse gases emissions. Thus we are able to manage and reduce our GHG emissions and reduce our environmental impact on the global climate.
